About the speaker

Mr. David Ng, CMT – Proprietary Trader
David Ng is currently a full-time proprietary trader with IcebergX Sdn Bhd, a local proprietary trading firm based in Kuala Lumpur. He has done extensive research and is well-versed in the commodities and indices markets. He currently trades the Malaysia index and crude palm oil futures market. Currently, he holds a CMT designation as a chartered market technician.

Mr. Paul Chew – Head of Research Phillip Securities Ptd Ltd
Paul Chew, Head of Research at Phillip Securities, Singapore, has over 20 years of experience as a fund manager and sell-side analyst. He has managed diverse funds, including capital-guaranteed, dividend-income, and renewable-energy portfolios. A Monash University graduate, he is both a CFA charter holder and an Australian CPA.

Mr. Roger Chan – Head of Global Markets Night Trading Desk
Roger currently heads the Global Markets Night Trading desk assisting clients with the US, Canadian and European markets. Prior to the night desk, he was a bond trader at the Debt Capital Markets desk and brings with him a wealth of equity and debt market knowledge. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Monash University.

Mr. Thng Xiao Xiong – Assistant Manager in Dealing
Thng Xiao Xiong, Assistant Manager in Dealing at PhillipCapital, specializes in trade execution across US, Canada, UK, and EU markets. He led the launch of POEMS US Fractional Shares and has authored market journals and conducted webinars on macroeconomics and technical trading. A former President of PhillipCapital’s Toastmasters Club, he is a skilled communicator in the dynamic US market.
